How the journey of your soul been?

There is a philosophy called HUNA from ancient Polynesia… it is a fabulous study on the way things work in the universe and its several thousand years old. One of the things they say is “Everything is Working Out Perfectly” or EWOP.

When you tie this into what you read in the book, Journey of Souls, by Michael Newton. You realize that you CHOSE this path prior to coming to Earth, and that you have some big lesson or lessons that you are here to work on. Some major purpose.

As we all know, our purpose is NOT to just get by and to make ends meet, but to excel and to move forward down our spiritual paths.

Apparently, in the end, we all become spiritual teachers on the journey for souls that aren’t as far down that path as we are… and eventually we get to a point in which we no longer reincarnate on Earth as our souls progress to higher levels of understanding… of course, with each life, comes harder lessons… but we choose this in advance.

So, it boils down to the fact that all of our existence is a divine creation… a path that we CHOSE to take. It’s not easy, but once we learn this, it seems to make the journey a little lighter a whole lot less stressful… less stress…. less worry. We just need to glean the lesson from within.

Sounds wild, eh? But it feels like the truth… I’m WAY less stressed than I used to be… it seems to take some of the edge off, knowing how the universe actually works!

Huna & the Blue Feather.

Huna is an ancient philosophy that originated in the polynesian islands including Hawaii.  It is a “secret knowledge”.  I have had the very unique opportunity to participate in Huna learning under the tutelage of Pohaku at HunaTrainer.com who is a 20+ year understudy of Serge Kahili King.  His podcast is available on iTunes, and well worth going through the complete podcast series.

The key to Huna is the concept of the Three Selves – the low self, middle self and higher self; or unconscious, conscious and super-conscious, which he called the unihipili, the uhane and the aumakua. Other Huna teachers also refer to the Three Selves but give them the alternate names of Ku, Lono and Aumakua, or simply refer to them as high, middle and low without Hawaiian terms.

Serge King has articulated seven principles of Huna, the color associated to that principle, the day of the week that it is most prevalent, what the principle means and the animal associated with the Huna Principle.

The 7 Principles of HUNA

1. IKE. White.  Sunday

The world is what you think it is. Be Aware. Dolphin – Awareness

2. KALA.  Red.  Monday

There are no limits. Be Free. 

Bird – Freedom

3. MAKIA.  Orange.  Tuesday

Energy flows where attention goes. Be focused.

Cat- Focus

4. MANAWA. Yellow. Wednesday

Now is the moment of Power. Be present.

Ox- Persistence

5. ALOHA.  Green.  Thursday

To love is to be happy with. Be happy, praise.

Horse- Love

6. MANA.  Blue.  Friday

All power comes from within. Be confident.

Bear- Confidence

7. PONO.  Violet.  Saturday

Effectiveness is the measure of truth. Be Flexible.

Wolf- Wisdom

The 3 Selves

Attributes of the Ku:

 ▪    It’s primary function is memory.

▪    It controls the entire operation of the physical body, though some of this control is shared by the conscious mind (lono).

▪    It is the source of all emotions and feelings.

▪    It is the source of all mental and physical habits and behavior.

▪    It is the means by which the conscious mind perceives experience and acts upon it.

▪    It is the receiver and transmitter of all psychic phenomena.

▪    It’s prime directive is to grow.

▪    It reasons logically (Programmers and techies, TAKE NOTE!)

▪    It obeys orders

Attributes of the Lono or conscious mind:

▪    The ability to direct awareness and attention

▪    Will power

▪    Making a conscious decision or choice

Attributes of the Aumakua or Superconscious self:

▪    The ancestral spirit – the collection of spirits that “watch over you”

▪    The manifesting spirit – the part of you that creates reality

▪    The divine spirit – that part of you which is directly connected to God, or the Infinite Consciousness, or the Universe (pick the one that resonates best with you)

First Level of Reality: Physical

 1st level of reality is just your “plain” physical world, subject to all physical laws.

Second Level or Reality: Psychic

The 2nd level of reality is subjective. Everything is alive, aware, and responsive. In this level you can talk (and listen) to animals, places, and things.

Third Level of Reality: Symbolic

 In the 3rd level of reality, everything is a dream. Everything is a symbol which in some way reflects yourself. Third level activities include:

▪    Interpreting a sleeping dream

▪    Interpreting a physical event as if it was a dream

▪    Interpreting events or things as “signs”

Fourth Level of Reality: Holistic

 Fourth level of reality sees everything as perfect in every way, regardless of it’s physical or short-term appearance. 4th level characteristics are:

▪    “Everything is working out perfectly”

▪    “Thing always work themselves out better than we could ever plan them”

▪    “Everything happens for a perfect reason and is all part of a perfect universe.
